How to Make a Giant Jumbo Salad!

The giant jumbo salad is for people that hate wasting time.

It’s simple, quick, and doesn’t promise the world. 

It’s a very basic salad but is tasty, clean, and oh so delicious!

When you see the ingredients, you’ll understand why even a toddler can make this salad in 5 minutes. 

Okay, maybe a toddler can’t make it but you get my point.

Meal Prep Hacks to make this even easier

1. Zipper bags

Make a huge batch on Monday night. Then split the rest into little zipper bags that you can take to work for lunch.

I find that I have fewer excuses to skip the salad when it’s right there already pre-portioned. 

2. Boiled eggs

Boil 6 or 7 eggs at once and save them in the fridge.

That way, you have a wholesome source of protein to top your salad with instantly.

3. Add Meat

If you really want to take this salad to the next level, add some meat. 

I love a good grilled chicken breast in my salad.

It just makes me feel like i’ve reached boss status with my fitness level.

I mean, which other mere mortal adds chicken breast to their salad? That’s right, only the bosses do that 😀

Nigerian Giant Jumbo Salad Recipe 


  • Boiled Eggs
  • Lettuce
  • Cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Grilled Chicken (optional)
  • Canned Sweet Corn (optional)
  • Salad Dressing (optional)


  1. Chop and toss together the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, sweet corn, sliced boiled eggs, and grilled chicken.
  2. Top with some salad dressing and enjoy!
