The best diet for weight loss is not actually a diet.
The best diet for weight loss is an eating habit that
🟢 you can stick with
🟢 contains enough protein
🟢 doesn’t combine high levels of carbs and fat
You will know you are on the right track if you are doing the following behaviors
✅ You don’t drink your calories. Aka – no soda/pop
✅ You don’t fry your carbs. Aka – no breaded deep fried chicken
✅ You drink plenty of plain water. Pro tip: drink warm water if you can stand it. It helps digestion
✅ At least 20% of your calories are coming from lean proteins
✅ You are exercising daily
If you are vegan, tofu, tempeh, and soybeans are excellent sources of protein.
If you are non-vegan, chicken breast, lean beef, eggs with extra egg whites are all great sources of lean protein.
When it comes to weight loss, replace the word “diet” with the phrase “eating habit”.
