Why is this Weight Loss Plan So Good?
This plan for weight loss without exercise was originally developed for the employees of General Motors.
Yes, that’s the same GM that makes Cadillacs and Chevys
The research was completed using a grant from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It was also tested for efficacy by the Johns Hopkins Research Center.
The GM Board of Directors approved it for distribution to help their employees live healthier lives.
Fast forward a few years, and it became a roaring success.
In fact, the plan became so successful that thousands of people outside of GM began using it to lose weight without exercise.
My husband is one of those people.
He tried it and lost 9 pounds (4kg) in 7 days and kept if off for quite a while.
Here’s how it works – step by step.
The 2-Step Plan if You Hate Exercise but Want to Lose Weight
Step 1: Gather the following foods:
- 1 big watermelon or any fruit you enjoy

These are the only foods you are allowed to eat for the 7 days that this plan lasts – no exceptions.
For best results, do not add, remove, or change anything in this plan.
The foods have been carefully selected, portioned, and ordered in this manner for very specific reasons. You can find detailed explanations of the purpose of each food item here or here.

Keys to Success if you Hate Exercise but Want to Lose Weight
This weight loss plan is useful if you want to kick start a healthier lifestyle.
It is also useful if you want to lose weight very quickly for a special event like a wedding or vacation.
It is, however, not sustainable. Nobody can (or should) eat like this indefinitely.
So, please don’t follow this plan for more than the recommended amount of time.
See this post for the best quality Nigerian food time table (with pictures).
It will give you many ideas for healthy Nigerian foods you can eat on a regular basis.
Also, do invest in researching easy exercises that you can enjoy (they exist. I promise!)

Great Article……..have been taking fruits but I alternatively blend them (Smoothie) mostly melon and pineapple. rather than the normal stew, I make veggies sauce with chicken gravy. Though I hate doing exercises but I kinda prefer the dance-workout (created a playlist of our naija artists)………much kudos Koboko would appreciate more articles from you….N:B having difficulty subscribing to the workout videos
Thanks for your comment, Anastasia! I love what you’re doing with making veggie sauce + gravy and also blending fruits into smoothies. Both are really excellent ideas! And thank you for mentioning that you enjoy dance workouts! I’ll do my best to do more of those as well! Anything else you’d like to see from Koboko Fitness?
